- Seems like a good price but it depends upon what is wrong with
- it. If it really is in good condition then you should have no
- problem getting your money back later. Maybe even more than what
- you paid if you sold it at the right time. Just be careful how much
- you put into it.

- Cars and sleds don't have much in common other than basic
- mechanical design. Your experiance should provide you with knowlege
- in the proper and sometimes creative :-) use of tools.

- If you've got the time and some extra money, I would think the
- knowlege and mechanical experiance alone would justify the purchase.
- You'll also have something to ride in the meantime.
- I think there is a sense of personal satisfaction and pride to be
- able to wrench ones own sled (insert other toys here). To say that
- you've repaired this or added that, can be very satisfying. This
- is something that simply cannot be purchased.
-
- >2) What should I look for, such as possible expensive problems?
- Assuming your going to do your own work, I would think the
- following:
- Track, clutches and drive train, engine work, suspension.
-
- >3) Will this be a difficult machine to work on?
- Doubt it since machines that I've seen from that era tend to be
- very simple. I would invest in a ski-doo shop manual... if you can
- get one. If not then a couple of books on 2-cycle theory, clutching
- and gearing and maybe carburation.
