- Hello, all!
-
- Thank you Laura J., Laura H., and Nancy R. for your helpful advice in
- easing sleeves! All of it was very helpful, and I do appreciate the
- time you took to respond. I guess I am ambitious... I've actually been
- sewing things by hand for about a year before I got my machine. I wanted
- to try making the suit, because a) I like to be challenged, and b) it
- feels so good to see the realization of the work of your own hands (especially
- when it turns out really well!). I've actually nearly completed the suit
- blazer (lining and all), but I'm thinking about ripping the sleeves out and
- doing them over, again (I'll probably end up recutting the sleeve pattern,
- anyway, since I underestimated the sleeve length I needed when I altered
- the pattern).
-
- I haven't been reading this group for too long, but I enjoy hearing
- about everyone's projects, and I've saved a few tips that would help in
- situations that pop up in my own sewing projects.
-
- Once again, thanks!
