  23. I agree with Michael in that I wouldn't like to reject a potential
  24. mate just cos he didn't fit in with some idea or list of qualities
  25. that I had worked out beforehand.
  26. However, from past experience, I know that I find it difficult to
  27. deal in the long term with certain qualities in a mate, and so
  28. it's very helpful if I know what to avoid so that I don't keep making
  29. the same mistakes.
