  33. I don't think Metallica "sold out"; I think it's possible their own desire
  34. to change their musical direction somewhat coincided with the tastes of 
  35. people into not as heavy of stuff.  I was disappointed with their latest
  36. release at first, but now I'd have to assess it as a good very, very
  37. hard rock release (as opposed to their speed metal stuff).  It's not
  38. as intense as Lightning through Justice, but I'd probably take it over
  39. Kill 'Em All, and it's definitely lyrically more impressive.  People
  40. that accuse metallica of being sell-outs generally apply the "sell-out"
  41. label in a cliche' fashion.  It will be interesting to see what their
  42. next release is like.  Eric M.
