- It was Phil who got me to put earplugs in every one of my coats!
- I was working for a radio station at the time, and got a "press"
- seating location -- 4th row right in front of the speaker stack.
- Phil plays trumpet (kinda like a Christian Chuck Mangione), and
- he was playing into a microphone which was amplified. My ears
- suffered damage during that concert, and I vowed that I would never
- go to another concert again without earplugs.

- But as for Phil's music, I haven't heard anything from him in a
- while. I'm not sure that I've seen it all either, since his music
- is more instrumental/inspirational and I don't look at that section
- of music that often :-).
