  17. It was Phil who got me to put earplugs in every one of my coats!
  18. I was working for a radio station at the time, and got a "press"
  19. seating location -- 4th row right in front of the speaker stack.
  20. Phil plays trumpet (kinda like a Christian Chuck Mangione), and
  21. he was playing into a microphone which was amplified.  My ears
  22. suffered damage during that concert, and I vowed that I would never
  23. go to another concert again without earplugs.

  25. But as for Phil's music, I haven't heard anything from him in a
  26. while.  I'm not sure that I've seen it all either, since his music
  27. is more instrumental/inspirational and I don't look at that section
  28. of music that often :-).
