- I have used my scanner on aircraft many times. I always check with the captain
- before takeoff. Two pilots were amazed at what it could pick and wanted to know
- where they could buy one. The only restriction was that I keep it turned down
- or use an earphone so as not to bother other passengers. One pilot gave me a
- handwritten list of freqs. so I could follow the entire flight.
-
- The bottom line: Show it to the captain before liftoff and if he says no, stow
- it.
