- No. All radios have some kinds of filters and W2A has also. I compare W2A
- thid time to my 24AT:
- Expanded RX mod (PowerOn: # + B + Light) allows to enter freqs from 0.00MHz
- to 1310MHz. But this does not mean radio can RX the entered freq.
- I have labbed my radio with a signal generator, and signals can be
- heard from 65MHZ and up. When desired freq at ham radios is abt 145 MHz,
- radios filter can't be called filter if it allows CB signal to go trough.
- Another problem is VCO control voltage. VCO voltage is dependent to frequency
- and at freqs below 50MHz it is way out from desider limits. I think
- W2A has also a somekind of a indicator when it is not actually receiving the
- entered frequency: In 24ET Unlock-situation is impressed with a U-letter
- at memory channel screen (right side from freq)
