  10.        I bought a new Motorola cordless phone (America Series 350) because
  11.        of Motorola's claim of "total security" due to signal scrambling, or
  12.        inversion, or something (obviously I'm not a tweek). There's a "demo
  13.        button" on the phone to let you hear what the signal would sound like
  14.        to anyone listening with a conventional scanner: Basically, it sounds
  15.        like some Asian language spoken backward.
  16.           Is there anyone out there who knows how secure this technology
  17.        really is? (Please don't send speculations about what the
  18.        technology _might_ be; I mean, anyone who is familiar with the Motorola
  19.        line and *knows* what it is.) How motivated/sophisticated would someone
  20.        need to be to eavesdrop on it?  I'd really appreciate some informed
