  13. I was wondering if anyone has run across a way (i.e home project) to add a 
  14. signal strength meter to a product that does not have one, in my case a scanner
  15. so that I can decide whether or not I am approaching a signal I am receiving.

  17. A while ago I remember seeing something like that in monitoring times, popular 
  18. communications or some other similar magazine ... did anyone keep that issue?
