  11. I've been scanning for some time using the Radio Shack PRO-30. I
  12. have found that the only constraint is the limited 16 channel 
  13. database. Is there an inexpensive upgrade (a chip replacement
  14. perhaps?) I can obtain to increase the database to 30 - 40
  15. channels? I'm trying to avoid buying a whole new scanner with
  16. a larger database. Other than that limitation I have found
  17. the PRO-30 a reliable scanner.
