- Lancos is a fairly young human who stands approximately six feet tall.
- He has red hair (perhaps his only outstanding feature) and blue eyes. He
- wears a dark green outfit that covers most of his (banded mail) armor, and
- has a sheathed weapon on each side of him (a long sword on the left, a
- scimitar on the right).
- Lancos originally was born in (an unknown part, to him) the realm of
- Greyhawk, and on occasion returns there. However, he has travelled through
- a good portion of the world, primarily due to a Ranger named Sean McMillian
- he met early on is his adventuring career. Sean was (and still is)
- determined to see most of the world, and Lancos was happy to come along.
- The two not only became friends but learned from each other, Lancos trading
- his ability in bowmanship and knowledge of cities for Sean's two-weapon
- fighting style and wilderness survival techniques.
- Generica is just another stop for Lancos, although he is never one to
- be bored. Even though he has been involved in several escapades that some
- people would consider heroic, Lancos has a low ego, and occasionally
- downplays his role in favor of the group's accomplishments --fame is not his
- goal anyway.

- There is Listener, who is a bard. He plays upon request, a flute,
- in which words can be understood, and a lute. He uses these mainly, but
- can play all manner of instruments. The flute plays soothing music, and
- calms all violent action in the bar, including FLAME WARS, (which are not
- allowed anyway). If this does not work, Rowan can throw most out with ease,
- and has a rather nice sword that he uses well. Listener is a bar feature.

- The bar is called the Dragons Inn. The owner is one Rowan Littlefair.
- He is a large burly man, an ex adventurer, who runs the place with his
- wife Mary and young son Bob, who is in his early teens.
- It is claimed that he had some part in the downfall of a dragon, and keeps
- some small trophies from the body, but this is not confirmed. He will serve
- just about anything that is not too disgusting in nature, and has a well
- stocked bar. Mary cooks, and cooks well. Bob will listen to ANY tale told
- him of the wide world. These characters are open for use, but their past
- histories are to be written by the founder of the group (me). They will
- not leave the establishment.

- **(Father) Lucas Murphy**: (Clinton Richard Wolf) wolf@cheshire.oxy.edu

- Lucas Murphy is 5'9", with brown hair, brown eyes, and an average build. He
- wears a drab brown robe and sandals, and a carved wooden rabbit on a thong
- around his neck (his holy symbol). He carries a shoddy-looking wooden staff
- (which is actually a Staff of Withering, with some other neat stuff as well)
- and is generally gloomy and depressed.

- Luthor is the last person of the old adventuring group "the Children of the
- Blue Star". He is a 5'6" 150 year old Half Elf with jet black hair, light
- blue eyes, and golden skin. He weighs about 130 lbs and looks like he could
- handle himself in a fight. The most remarkable feature is his movement. When
- walking, he seems to glide. This is enhanced by his black clothes and BLACK
- cape which blends into the shadows making his outline indistinct. As far as
- an occupation goes, he calls himself a "Shadowmaker".

- Maleiu is a hunter and warrior from the Dark Continent. His skin is
- dark brown verging to black, and his hair is normally long and
- straight, worn in a warrior's braid; although it has been recently
- cut short, it is starting to grow back. He is 6'3" and exceedingly
- muscular. (18/something strength, D&D terms.) He left his home
- village after being essentially exiled by the chief, and has been
- wandering the world ever since. He is a companion of Mistletoe(whom
- he loves), Bronwen, and Ornigan.
- He speaks common, his tribal tongue, Dark common(the common tongue of
- the Dark Continent), and a dialect of lizardman.

- **Marcel Delacroix (& Rabbi Fishbien)**:

- Marcel is a human, and looks like your typical paladin. However,
- he's from the Cyberpapacy (in the Torg RPG). He is proof of Clarke's
- Law regarding magic and science. He's currently dressed in plate armor.
- An ornate cross hangs around his neck, and a broadsword is in a scabbard
- hanging on his waist. He's around 6' 3" and powerfully built. He's got
- black hair in that Moe haircut you see on priests in old pictures. (No
- shaven tonsure tho.) He gives off that air of innocence seen in children
- and paladins.
- The Rabbi Fishbien is a Spirit Chip, a personality inscribed on a
- microchip, and mounted in Marcel's head. The process was supposed to wipe
- away all of the Rabbi's 'heretical' tendencies, but the Rabbi's true
- personality re-emerged. The Rabbi is an expert linguist, and has a
- great breadth of historical and religious knowledge (for Earth, however).
- His "speech" appears on a LCD stream across Marcel's field of vision.
- Empaths and sensitives can sense the Rabbi's presense, as the process for
- creating Spirit Chips involves strange mystical rituals.

- **(Bashar) Mardan**: (Todd McCall) mccall@oswego.oswego.edu

- A young man, perhaps 20 years old, with jet black hair and grey eyes, which
- constantly scan his surroundings. He has the stance of a trained warrior.His
- attire depends on what he is doing.
- If adventuring/on-active-duty, he wears military fatigue style clothing over
- leather armor. The fatigues are black, with a red heraldric hawk on the left
- chest pocket location. A black traveling cloak billows behind him in the wind,
- and a longsword with a silver filigreed hilt hangs in a scabbard at his side.
- He wears a leather helm with the same hawk insignia.

- In other situations he wears grey military fatigues with the hawk insignia
- still in the left chest pocket location. Unless expecting violence or if local
- customs permit the wearing of a blade, he will not wear the longsword. In place
- of the helm is a black beret.

- Mathew Dawnstrider is a 24 year old young man. He's got long flowing black
- hair down to the middle of his broad shoulder blades. He's got a charming
- innocent smile that shows perfect teeth. He has deep chocolate colored eyes.
- Clean shaven and a dimple in his chin. He has a long face with strong
- cheek bones. He looks like a body builder with great tone.

- He's been raised on the farm, and has innocent ideals. He's not worldly,
- but is wise. He's got a very sharp mind, and healthy as a horse.

- He's good with horses, and tracks okay (he makes mistakes). He has
- helped out the local Blacksmith for a while and can shoe a horse.
- He's fast with thrown daggers and great with a long sword. He uses a shield
- to parry alot. He will wear chain mail as other armor is too expensive for
- him to purchase.

- He will make a mistake once (I want to use this for humor purposes),
- but not twice. He's a little too honest, believing people try to understand
- and not twist things. He'll start out with very high ideals, but will
- change as the *real* world is revealed to him.

- He's not a great warrior yet, and is looking for friends as he is alone
- in the world now as his father was slain by the Ga thread by way of
- a malicious magic. He was sent away as a very young man to Paladin
- Training in the name of Tyr. There was a plague that killed his mother and two
- younger brothers. His father was left in a weakened state so he left school
- before his training was complete so he could return to help his father recover
- fully.

- He behaves like the captain of a football team, without being stuck up.
- He's not a leader of men yet and seeks to better his skills by training with
- others. He's very impressionable at this stage in his life too.
- He's not above peer pressure if it's subtlely done. He want to become a full
- paladin someday but events may not take him in that direction

- Mavrius is a human warrior standing around 5'11. He is in his late
- twenties, though looks to be older. He has a thin masculine build, and is
- very agile and fast, much like an elf. Though he has been compared to a
- cat with his stealthy, stalking movements and spring like tension. Mavrius
- has the pale complexion of someone who has seen a lot of the indoors, or
- more correctly a lot of the night. His hair is jet black and cut short in a
- military fashion, with eyes as black as coal. Unlike most warriors
- Mavrius wears brown leather armour, for increased mobility and to
- accentuate his unusual thieving abilities. Mavrius also wears a long
- black cloak which he sometimes wraps around himself to hide his features
- (just right for those shadowy areas and corners). He is a fighter who
- prefers close combat and is greatly skilled at martial arts. Mavrius
- carries two short swords, one of which is silver, a multitude of daggers and
- a drow hand crossbow. All of these he is quite proficient and fond of
- using.

- Max is a traveller of dimensions, using very technological means.
- He is quite taciturn and doesn't lend friendship easily to anyone. In his
- homeworld of Telrir, Max was a CyberWarrior for the Council of Tzarth.
- This meant he was one of the few soldiers in a peaceful nation. It also
- meant he was a lawman, and other such things. He was equipped as a gold
- rank warrior, due to his skill. It was during this time that the planet
- was invaded by the Horde. The battle was fierce but quick, and Max lost
- many friends. The Telrir people cried to the Warriors to save them, but
- the warriors could only watch as the cities were subject to nuclear war.
- There was nothing else for it. Max ran into the wilderness, hunted by the
- Horde minions all the time. His equipment stood him in good stead, but at
- last it was a near thing indeed.
- He found himself trapped in an underground research facility, beating
- back the Horde as fast as he could. Then he discovered a gate generator
- with the mark of DANGER written across it. Making his decision,the
- warrior activated it, messed with the controls and dived through.
- He found himself in Generica, intact, and thankful to be alive.

- He is equipped as a CyberWarrior still, for all his weapons work on
- Solar Power, and nuclear fusion.
- His chief missile weapons are his two blaster pistols, firing rather
- powerful laser bursts.
- In melee, he uses cyber-razorclaws of strong titanium steel, stronger
- than most metals he has encountered in this world.
- His armor is made of a material unknown in Generica that is light but
- very strong indeed.
- He carries a few bits and pieces with him, but chiefly his most
- reliable implants are the Wired Reflexes and Smartgunlink.

- Recently, Max has discovered both a taste for ale and an inherent
- immunity to psionics and mind affecting magic of this world. He still is
- trying to come to terms with the magic of the world, not fully
- understanding it's possibilities.

- Medor is a standard night lizard (see Beastiary) who was left in the
- Dragon's Inn by Artimian Yauntirr of Elturel. Medor liked the feel of
- the Inn better than he did Artimian so he just hung around for a while.
- Recently, tho' he has regained his interest in being a familiar and has
- attached himself to Kloote.

- Born in the Elven community of Vyalia, bordering the Grand Duchy of
- Karameikos. Daughter of the leader of the ruling clan and seen as royalty by
- the neighbouring humans. Due to inbreeding within the ruling clan, hereditary
- madness had popped up causing the elves to elect a council to control their
- affairs. Melandra is one of the few cases of hereditary insanity now found in
- the Flametree Clan. She cannot stand the boredom ensuing from a natural elven
- lifestyle and thus has had to adopt a particularly hedonistic attitude to keep
- herself occupied and sane.
- She dresses in varied attire depending upon the time of year and her
- lack of sanity. Usually ( if not in battle) it consists of Brown leather riding
- Boots, accompanied by green breaches and a dark green jerkin. She has a mottled
- brown cloak which she sometimes uses to disguise herself. Most of the time she
- will be wearing a blood Red blouse with bright Yellow flames scattered over it,
- which is a facsimile of the painting of her armour.
- Over her years away from her homeland she has developed into a fairly
- accomplished worker of magic but still hurries onward as it gives her something
- to use up the downtime. Thus when she isnt sleeping, she's practicing or
- drinking herself into a stupor, or finding some amiable company for the day and
- preferably night. However, she still has a strong belief in her elven heritage
- and will rarely question the motives of one of her kindred race.

- Born as sixth son of his father and ninth of his mother, he is an
- acknowledged bastard. He was born in the village of Eidru in Thardic
- Republic in Harn(TM) as a freehold farmer. At the age of 16 he began serving
- in the town militia but shortly after that took off as an adventurer. He was
- going from Aleath to Golotha by a ship, when a hurricane hit it, and he was
- flown overboard. He hung to a piece of driftwood. Next night he saw a pillar
- of light rising from the sea and was sucked to it. He lost consciousness and
- later found himself on a ship in Generica.
- He is 150cm tall, weighs 52kg and has light build. His eyes are blue (herited
- from his father), his hair completely white, and his complexion is normal.
- He is very young, 17 yrs, and is quite a poor fighter. In militia he learnt
- how to use polearms, spears and clubs/maces etc.
- He is very reliable and honest, keeps his promises, and values those good
- old-fashioned chivalric values!

- Meshtak's full name is Meshtakalanummus Slayer-of-the-first-Numpka, which for
- obvious reasons is shortened to Meshtak. He is a Draga from the plains of
- Drotshava. The Dragas are plains-folk and most of them are very peaceful and
- content to herd Grahma all their lives. However, Meshtak got bored with that
- life and when an offer came to work for the Hytians, he took it; since
- then he has been a soldier-for-hire. Meshtak is about seven feet tall, very
- strong, and is covered with light brown hair. He has a lion-like mane, fangs,
- retractable claws, and a cat-like tail with four spikes protruding from it.

- Having recently completed his apprenticeship, the dark elf
- is now looking for things to do. While familiar with most forms
- of magic, he is more adept at elemental magic and illusions. His
- skin is the color of dark midnight, and his long hair that of
- silvery moonlight. He wears his mage robes when he's "working"
- but dresses casually otherwise. He also knows how to fence (he has
- a saber) and shoot archery. He carries a silver dagger as well, a
- graduation present.

- Mistletoe was born the only child, which is not unusual in grey elven families,
- but her parents had several siblings, which is unusual. So, by the custom of
- her culture, she was given ten names. Mistletoe is the one she usually goes by
- [ADMIN: I'll give you the rest of them once I find her old character sheet...]
- but at an early age she began to rebel and never introduces herself by the same
- name twice--making up names for herself if necessary. She is insatiably
- curious, and once she gets past a little initial shyness, she will ask you
- questions until your ears fall off. It is perhaps this curiosity that lead her
- down the path of witchcraft. She is quite skilled with herbs and subtle magics
- of her sex. She is also in love with Maleiu. She is about 4'3", and has long
- silver, almost platinum, hair, and a ready smile.

- Moria RuneCaster is a very beautiful female dark elf of moderate height
- and slim build. She can be commonly seen to be wearing a headband, a pair
- of high, soft black boots (with two dark grey dagger hilts protruding) over
- a pair of brown leather breeches, a tight-fitting shirt made of fine silk
- with red runes embroidered on the hems of the sleeves, and bandages
- covering her hands and lower arms. Normally she wears a thick brown,
- hooded cloak over these clothes hiding them from view, but from time to
- time she does remove the cloak. Her large blue-silver eyes are very
- responsive to her emotions and complement her long, silver hair very well.

- Moria is a powerful psychic who just recently came into control of her
- powers and still is reluctant to use them for anything other than defense.
- She is also an extremely powerful adept of greater rune magic, perhaps the
- strongest alive from her world. The power of this type of magic, while
- limited offensively, is practically unriveled in shielding, conjuration,
- alteration, and divination.

- She is extremely jumpy, and tends to react poorly to situations which
- surprise her, often combining psionic attacks with reflexive magical
- 'attacks', often doing strange things like encasing her opponents in
- constricting spheres of force, or more drastic if she detects malice,
- turning their blood to acid or something similar.

- She is quite friendly, but is timid about making new friends or
- attempting to due to the way drow are viewed by most people. She tends to
- be overly trusting, oddly enough, due to the way she has been treated. If
- she is approached in kindness and with no guile she will be predisposed to
- that person. It should also be known that she has no compassion for those
- who would do her harm with malice in their hearts.

- Motley is a mongrelman. He wears a brown hooded robe with a rope belt,
- and carries a staff. He's about 5'7". Most of his body is covered by
- his robe, but the parts that aren't are so bad that you don't want to
- see the rest. His right hand is covered in thick scabrous yellow skin,
- with an orange clawed thumb and one finger which is basically a crab-
- claw. His left hand is purple and smooth, scaled like a python's
- skin, with four red opposeable fingers (no thumb) spaced equally around
- the palm. He has feathers an the right side of his neck, fur on the
- left, covering functional gills. His face looks like a ram with a cow's
- horn on the right side instead on the curled ramhorn, one cat-eye (r),
- one insect eye (l), and one doe's eye (lower-l), his left cheek sags
- and a large tusk protrudes from the right lower jaw. He has bristly
- brown hair. He is a wildmage.

- **Nightstalker**: (The Nightstalker) pope@physics.su.oz.au

- The Nightstalker is a tallish human-like creature (assumed human), who
- wears dark robes, including a scarf which covers his face. His eyes are
- blue and piercing. Not much can be said about The Nightstalker which is
- not mere speculation. It is assumed that he is a wizard of some sort, and
- can change his form, cast various agressive spells such a chain lightning
- and flame strike, and exercise various forms of illusion and mind control.
- He wields a sword known as Dragon's Breath, which is a flame-tongue with
- various properties. The Nightstalker is a staunch aggressor against evil,
- particularly undead and demonkind. His background and nature remain a
- mystery.

- Nirvan is about sixteen, average height for his age but slightly
- scrawny. He has brown hair and grey eyes. He's ubiquitous in Low
- City; he's made his living for years by gathering information and
- selling it, and thereby making himself indispensible. He's also
- learned not to get on the wrong side of the wrong people. He has
- very acute sight and hearing, perhaps indicative of some nonhuman
- blood in his ancestry, and is also very stealthy, a result of
- lifelong practice. Everyone in Low City knows him, and if you ask
- about him, he'll find out.

- Ornigan is a black sheep son of a noble family in the Great Heath, a place far
- to the east. His father mostly left him alone to study magic, since he wasn't
- close enough to the title to warrant training. Magic is about his only
- obsession, and more than once this has got him into trouble--in fact, once he
- was nearly responsible for genocide as a result of an artifact he picked up and
- could not get rid of. He is in his thirties, but sometimes looks older because
- of his studious nature and pale skin. He is a friend of Mistletoe and Bronwen,
- but they have had their differences.

- Ornigan is the third son of Thoric, Count of Maybold on the northern edge of
- the Great Heath. His father named him after a line of previous Counts of
- Maybold, since Thoric himself took the title by participating in a coup and
- marrying the previous Count's daughter. Unfortunately, Ornigan's namesake,
- Count Ornigan IV of Maybold, was a psychotic mage whose laboratories are
- still hidden somewhere in Castle Maybold. Ornigan IV's name is well-known
- among many mages, particular in the Great Heath, and Ornigan has from time to
- time encountered problems as a result.

- He is of slight build, garbed all in black, bearing no insignia, although he
- does carry the seal of Maybold to present if necessary. He has steel grey
- eyes, and is handsome in an almost feminine way. His hair is black but
- flecked with grey and white. He is generally engaging, eager to talk and
- eager to know. He has a crooked smile that looks slightly wicked.

- Ornigan is a gifted and entertaining conversationalist. He shows interest in
- learning, but in the offhand, unconcerned way of a young aristocrat with many
- passing fancies. He will never introduce himself as a magician. (In fact,
- he learnt his magic from Castle Maybold's Librarian, and only his sister knows
- he is a mage.) He prefers to be taken as an explorer, amateur archaeologist
- and treasure-hunter, but is usually more vague than that about his activities
- in conversation. He will generally introduce himself as a traveler, and
- discuss where he is going more vividly than what he is up to. He is skilled at
- intrigue, and rarely spares much consideration for good or evil in such
- matters, if he can get what he wants.

- Dressed in plain clothes most of the time, Radan is an artist. He
- seems to have more behind those innocent eyes of his, though. One could
- say he has a "Healthy" glow to his aura and himself. A presence of
- good surrounds Radan, and he knows that he is different than other
- people; among the people in the Dragon's Inn, he finds that he "fits in"
- better. Radan was given the gift of healing at a very young age, and
- now he is discovering its uses; throughout his travels he has been using
- his gift to give others a second chance that they would otherwise never
- have. Somehow that just feels right to Radan. Personality-wise, Radan
- will be kind and gentle to those who need it, and will never instigate
- a fight unless backed into a corner. He is cheerful and always willing
- to help out anyone who asks it of him. This may prove to hurt him in
- the future, but for now, he is willing to take that chance.

- **'Raelf and ar'Elya**: (Stephen Hutchison) hutch@ibeam.intel.com

- 'Raelf looks like the archetypic surfer-jock - about 5'8", tanned, muscular,
- clean-shaven, sunbleached hair raggedly cut at just-above-the-ears, and
- drifting into his eyes. He has very straight teeth, and the casual smile of
- someone with no responsibilities. He looks like a fighter but is very polite
- and deferential. He wears what looks like a high-tech surfer's wetsuit half
- the time, otherwise wearing a pair of black cotton jams threaded with complex
- runes in bright colors; he always has a bandolier and what looks like one
- of those crystal amulets worn by new agers and SF fans. He often has a surf
- board or a short board that looks like a shield, wooden and nicely finished,
- with an abstract design on one side and runes on the other.

- ar'Elya appears as a 5'8" female human or elf, red-brown shoulder length
- hair, grey eyes, lightly tanned skin, straight brows. She has a pleasant
- voice and an open, ready smile. She's a killer trader, with an incisive
- wit. She will take on whatever role she finds most appropriate or timely
- and will sometimes change to a form fitting that role. Usually, when in
- human society, that will be a human form resembling the stereotype of that
- particular role.

- These two are of an extremely alien race called the 'kan, who live in
- a place rather far away from anything. They're elementalists, 'Raelf's
- specialty being the five "standard" elements of Fire, Water, Air, Earth,
- and "Void"; ar'Elya's easiest elements are the roles of Warrior-Athlete,
- Magician-Scholar, Rogue-Merchant, and Godcaller-Mystic.

- **Rhoan Pathkeeper**: (Randy Leep) slskq@riverheights.declab.usu.edu

- Rhoan Pathkeeper is physically about 6'0" and is not overly muscular.
- He has shoulder length curly brown hair and eyes that are brown around the
- edges and green around the iris. His major weopons are battle-axe and hand-
- axe, which he throws with great skill. His demeanor is warm-hearted and
- honest. He can be serious when the situation demands. Favorite drink is
- warmed mead. He is based more on the mountain men of west than on a Robin
- Hood style woodsman. He has two bear companions, one older and the other
- a cub, currently staying at his camp in the woods. Other skills/abilities/
- items may become apparent later.

- Rhys is a medium height (about 6') male. He dresses quietly, in fairly
- loose clothes. His speciality is unarmed combat, eastern style. He
- walks with a low, loose, slightly rolling gait. There is, however, not
- just a physical side to his training. Through long practice, he has
- mastered the art of meshing his Ki, or spirit, with his body, and thus
- is extraordinarily attuned to his surroundings. An interesting point to
- note is that, of all who know him, none have ever seen him *initiate*
- a combat.

- Rollik is a somewhat more than archetypal Swashbuckler. He
- just LOVES a good dramatic entrance, and swings off things with
- a carefree laugh whenever possible. He wears beautifully
- embroidered, loose- fitting clothing (white shirt and black
- breeches), has a golden earring in his LEFT ear, a thin
- moustache that adds to his dashing character, and wears
- a black, robin-hood style cap with a deep red plume. He is
- about six feet tall, and wields a rapier (rumoured to be
- magical) in his right hand and a parrying dagger in his left.
- On his right hand he wears a white glove for slapping
- enemies in the face when challenging them to mortal combat
- (though rumours connect this to his style of dancing).

- Rowan (no one knows her last name) is woman of about 22 who got a job at the
- Dragon's Inn as a bard. She and Listener usually work on opposite sides of
- the pub, but sometimes they play duets. Her main instrument is a harp but
- she also has a crystal lute which was a gift to her from Drax. She has
- long, mostly straight, dark brown hair; she is about 5'4" and has attractive
- features, but when she is not playing or singing she tends to blend into the
- crowd. Her eyes are very expressive, but she tends to look down a great
- deal. She is very quiet and doesn't talk much about herself, although she
- seems intelligent once you talk to her. She seems a little lost most of the
- time, and is drawn to those who are kind to her. But there is a lot she
- isn't saying.-'~? Currently her only apparent friend at the inn is
- Serene the barmaid.

- ...sage is the librarian in charge of ancient and magical texts in
- Generica's Great Library. He is also blind, albino and a Drow.
- Found as a youth by the library staff, he studied magic long and hard and
- was eventually able to cast a permanent true-seeing on himself. He has no
- idea of his past history and is in search of any information that might
- unlock the cloud in his mind. He is now an archmage who specialized in
- defensive and divining spells, and has acquired some other strange abilities

- Salamander is a male elf, about 5 feet in height. He is proficient in magic
- and swordfighting, though he prefers the magic. He has dirty blond hair,
- which is long in the back and is usually worn in a pony tail. His clothing
- is typically royal blue, mixed with greens and purples. When acting as a
- merchant from Oakendale, he wears bright reds, oranges and yellows. He always
- has a dark green cape. He also has a silver pin in the shape of a salamander,
- which is pinned on his shirt over his heart.

- When she was born, Saoirse was among the Agadan tribe, a barbarian
- tribe living far to the north. However, Saoirse was totally deaf. Her
- world was complete silence. Thus has it remained ever since. She was
- brought up as a young girl in the tribe. Deafness was a genetic trait
- that was more common than in other tribes. They praise their deaf
- children as being special, the mark of the goddess of the Agadan.
- However, when Saoirse was seven years of age, her parents died of a plague
- that struck and departed swiftly.
- Many among the tribe believed that it was a curse of the goddess,
- demanding sacrifice as they had done in years past. When such things happened
- it was believed that the orphans should be sacrificed to go with their
- parents to a blessed land.
- Saoirse was the only orphan, so they came to take her for the ritual.
- But the girl sensed something was wrong, and fled the tribe on a stolen
- horse.
- She moved north, getting food where she could as she had been taught
- to do. The tribe pursued her, but eventually, she came to a large city.
- What a strange city it was too, with warm air and fields and pleasant
- weather surrounding the city. At this, the tribe turned away. They had come
- upon the Fey City, as they called it.
- Saoirse had come to Magira.
- There, she befriended a priest of Ilmater who knew her sign language,
- and was able to tell her where she was. She explained, in the ways that
- children do, that she was lost and alone.
- Kelet was the priest's name.
- She lived with Kelet in the Temple for three years, learning to read
- and write, and something of the wider world in general. She also learned
- about magic, and was instantly fascinated by it.
- Despite Kelet's wishes for her to join the church, she wanted magic.
- She joined under a master at the Academy, to learn magic.
- Saoirse has since graduated an become a full member of the Academy.
- Her hearing has never been restored despite several attempts. Her magic is
- therefore highly specialised.
- She uses Somatic gestures, no vocals, at all.
- In her possession she was gifted with a scholar's gifts.
- She wears a circlet of golden design around her forehead. This is enchanted
- to warn her of approaching lifeforms and danger. It makes her as
- alert as a normal human, maybe a little more so.
- She also possesses a ring that helps power telepathy spells. Although
- it is still a wearying process.
- Saoirse is about 5'10" in height, slim with long blonde hair.
- She is attractive to a fair degree.
- Her goals are to adventure, see the world for herself. She helps
- people a lot, especially the needy, the downtrodden and the disabled.
- She especially dislikes disabled people who do not make the best of
- their situations, and try to overcome their disability.

- Sarbrek is a unusually cheerful Karalia, always smiling or grinning happily
- he likes to socialize and mingle. He wears the white leathers of the Karalia
- and carries the normal war-glove and short scimitar. He always smiles but
- never laughs at the expense of someone, he is willing to help anyone in
- trouble and willingly admits it. He seems very trustworthy and spends much
- though in following his codes of honor which prevail through his attitude to
- events. His status patch shows a silver war-glove crossed with a scimitar.
- His white fur shimmers beautifully by whatever light is present and he often
- throws his head back sending his long white mane shimmering. He talks a bit
- about his past but mostly in the vague way that you can attribute to the
- Karalians. His one unusual feature is a violent twitch he suffers in his left
- hand when ever he approaches or is approached by someone wearing a large amount
- of silver. But this he just laughs off as a weird allergy. Overall he seems
- like a nice trustworthy person who could likely help out a few people in
- trouble.

- Serene Uhtsong is the Barmaid of Dragon's Inn. She is 4'11", has grey
- eyes, long auburn hair in a ponytail, and is very graceful and quick.
- She likes guessing what people need to drink before they order it - and
- has a pretty good hit ratio. She is also a Fog Dancer and an
- adventurer whose primary skills are in aikido.

- and very good at sleeping. This very happy baby spends most of her day
- snuggled in a sling across her mother's chest. Her godfathers are

- Ever a mysterious figure, Silken is an elven thief who busies himself
- with other peoples' affairs by many means, chiefly listening from afar.
- He is handsome, and likes to act as mysteriously as possible when the
- mood takes him. His customary garb is silken cloth of a grey hue.
- With him at all times, in a scabbard, is his sword, Nighthawk.
- This sword often provides aid of a highly unusual nature.
- Silk originaly hails from the West, or so he says. He has many hidden
- talents, and some claim that he has the ability to use spells. This is not
- true; Silk is psionically gifted however.

- Bartender of the Drift Inn, husband to Ghurney, and probably the only
- halfling bartender to be seen in a few month's travel. He's about 2'11"
- and 63 lbs. with dark hair and a greyish-black complexion that has more to
- do with the smoke in the inn than anything else. The bar is actually set
- to human height, as this is the height of most of his customers, so he
- keeps several boxes behind the bar to step upon when taking orders, serving
- drinks, etc. Try to keep him from sounding too much like Tatoo...

- The T-600 is a terminator with rubber skin (mentioned by Kyle Reese in
- the first movie) that was accidentally sent to Generica by an early
- testing of the time displacement equipment. His mission is to kill humans
- of importance, thereby creating a noticeable disturbance in what he thinks
- is earth's past and showing Skynet that the machine works.
- The machine is massively muscled, and passes for human unless
- closely examined, where his features appear to be that of someone with
- lots of makeup, or a shop window dummy. Underneath he has the same
- endoskeleton as the later 800 series, so he is just as unstoppable
- but slightly less effective as an infiltration unit. Damages to his
- rubber skin can be healed with clerical healing powers. He will work
- with other evil characters as long as they are not human.

- Thk is a lizardman fighter/shaman from the delta marshlands near Generica.
- He is physically and mentally superior to the average lizardman, and his
- talents led him to become the king and military commander of his people.
- He has expanded their territories and standard of living significantly, to
- the irritation of the neighboring civilizations of humans, demi-humans and
- humanoids. Under his cunning and open-minded leadership, his military
- machine has become quite formidable, and the neighboring kingdoms have
- recently signed peace treaties and opened up trade accords -- an unheard
- of situation! Humans treating with lizardmen!
- Recently, while at the height of his power and popularity, Thk led a force
- of his warriors against an ancient white dragon that had been terrorizing
- his people. In the course of the battle, the dragon was slain, but Thk
- was frozen and fell from a cliff into the sea. The block of ice containing
- him was picked up by curious sailors and brought to the Dragon's Inn (for
- some silly reason).

- Timelord is male, just over six foot tall, with brown eyes and brown
- hair that is cut short front and sides, but long and braided at the back. He
- is well-muscled. Master of armed and unarmed combat, he is armed with katana
- and wakizashi.
- His armour is a leather/chain/leather for upper torso, with soft
- leather breeches specially made for flexablility. Shoes are black leather,
- as is the rest of his clothing. The boots and breeches have fine silver
- tracings down the sides. Also has a voluminous black cloak. Wears a single
- black leather gauntlet on right hand.
- Companion of Rollik, the Swashbuckler.

- L.T. Token, Human Barbarian (he prefers just to be called Token)
- is 6'5" about 225 Lbs., blonde hair and is all muscle. Unlike most of his
- kin he has come to trust magic due to his long association with Farnham, who
- is a gnome illusionist. When Farnham and Token parted ways Farnham left him
- a ring of dimension walking which Token has used to explore many worlds. Token
- has a weakness for tavern wenches and ale and usually can be found on any
- of a hundred worlds sitting in the corner of an inn.

- Torrollion Leafstar is a relatively small (5'10'')
- and stocky built elf. He has never been seen wearing
- anything else then black and normally carries a highly
- decorated dagger with a curved blade and a small dragon
- sitting on the hilt which he calls basilisks tongue.
- When he goes on tour, as he calls it, he normally also wears
- black leather gloves and a fencing sword. When he relaxes
- he often carries a 6'' decorated wooden staff.
- Torrollion is something between a mage and an assassin/thief.
- He's got a strong code of honor and chooses his weapons
- in regard of his opponents, he will for example never
- magically attack people not adept in these arts. But when
- he's up against a stronger opponent he will resort to all
- possibilities including magic and poison.

- Toscon is entirely too fond of the color dark-blue and has even gone so
- far as to get the appropriate dragon killed to get dark-blue leather armor,
- miscellaneous clothing, scabbards, etc. He's about 5'3", 157 lbs., black
- hair, and, usually, golden tan skin. He's actually a thief (mostly out of
- boredom) and not a very good one at that. In fact, many people have
- wondered why he is still alive. This has something to do with the fact
- that he's already been killed once (and resurected by some nice friends)
- and constantly keeps moving from town to town. He's probably made some
- nasty enemies, but he hasn't seen any sign of them yet. The only weapon he
- carries is a black short sword, which no-one has ever seen him use. He
- currently has been hired by Aglarond along with Effandir.

- stout human, and has beard a dwarf would kill for. He carries the pouch of a
- mage. He is wearing ivory and black leather armour, as well as ivory and
- black gaunltets and boots. He looks as though he has ridden a thousand miles,
- and almost has. He claims no one place as home.

- A brave and noble Paladin for several years, Sir Tyrone's career was abruptly
- ended when he was infected with a rare form of lycanthropy. During times of
- stress or during a full moon, Tyrone changes into a dreaded WereRabbit.
- Laughed out of his adventuring party, and unable to be taken seriously across
- the Realms, Tyrone gathered his possessions (including the Great Sword of
- Rabbitkind) and (literally) leaped through the gate to Generica in the Great
- Desert. In human form, he appears to be a tall, muscular man with short brown
- hair, a moustache, and brown eyes. In Were-form, he is a man-sized bipedal
- white rabbit. In full rabbit form, he looks like a very cute one foot long
- bunny.

- Valgar is a tall, lean man approaching middle-age. His ragged hair is
- turning prematurely grey. He is heavily scarred from his many years of
- harsh slavery. Valgar is well-muscled, but not overly so, as though his
- body had reached its most economical state; strong and resilient without
- needless bulk. He is attired in whatever comes readily to hand, but one
- thing remains constant: His forearms, from wrist to elbow, are ALWAYS
- covered. Valgar never carries a single weapon for any extended period of
- time, for he feels that reliance on any one single means of defense is a
- sign of weakness. "Killing is easy, it's getting away with it that's the
- hard part," is his motto.

- At six foot four Vardrek is slighty taller and also stronger built than the
- average Karalia male. Like all Karalia he has a pure white coat of soft, thick
- fur, but with one outstanding exception, his long mane is of the purest silver
- and shines and ripples beautifully whenever he moves with his fluid graceful
- step. He wears the typical Karalia garb of a suit of pure white leathers sewn
- together so perfectly the seams are almost invisible. Hanging at his side is
- his war claws, a heavy looking silver glove with large razor sharp claws, and
- a short bone handled silver scimitar. His status patch shows a solitary silver
- claw ( as with all such patches the meaning is lost to all non Karalians )
- On his back he wears a thin white leather backpack that he rarely opens.
- Vardrek is very controlled but has a very cheerful side which he lets show once
- he knows people fairly well and isn't in a big group. He spends much of his
- time looking for signs of previous Karalia presence, this he does with a very
- stern countenance and very closed mouth.

- and penitence. He is primarily a fighter with the church granted abilities
- of detection of chaos and protection from chaos. He is always protected from
- any spell which induces bias in the mind of the receiver ... Mind control or

- He is a warrior and fights primarily with his holy sword. His second
- weapons are the scourge whip (entanglement wounding) of pentinence and the
- iron gauntlet of office (judge rank)
- The holy sword is a 6 foot two handed sword with a flat (no point)
- tip. It is an intelligent sword of sharpness which dispells magic and can
- banish otherworldly beings.
- His goal in life is to reach the highest guild rank which is DEFENDER.
- He is currently JUDGE.

- He is 5'2" tall, strongly built with blond hair and blue eyes.
- He carries at his back two curved swords and currently wears leather
- armour with ivory bands. He is never seen without the swords. He does
- carry other weapons however including a set of 5 triangular bladed
- daggers of different length and type, a short bow and a pouch of darts.
- The darts are held in a pouch hanging from a pocketed belt.
- His only other item of equipment is a solid box backpack specially designed
- for his needs. In manner he is frequently sarcastic with a dry sense of
- humour, making quick decisions when necessary. In combat he is fast, deadly
- and unused to having to explain his actions.

- Zebron Twilight, the Silver Sword of Eilistraee
- Male Drow, Mage/Thief
- -Dressed in armor made from zebra leather, a cloak sits on his
- shoulders and twin silver longswords hang from his belt. The black sash and
- boots are offset by a fondness for silver jewelry, most notably the earring
- in the shape of a sword in his ear. A long mane of white hair is held in place
- by a silver circlet on his brow, and his emerald eyes reveal a warmth and
- kindness not found in many of his race.
- His raven familiar, Dusk, is often perched on his shoulder.
- -A renegade drow, Zebron first turned to Tymora, goddess of luck to aid
- him in his travels on the surface. However, after a few misadventures, found
- peace in the worship of Eilistraee, the goddess of surface drow. Zebron was
- the first worshipper of the goddess in his world, and has been chosen as her
- 'champion' of sorts, a living example of surface drow.
- Mage, champion, and thief, Zebron has created an alternate identity of
- Jaq Spayde, a gentleman thief who steals from evil to right wrongs. Jaq always
- leaves his calling card, a Jack of Spades, behind at every robbery. His
- exploits have run him afoul of many a town guard, as well as the Black Eel, an
- evil master thief whose network of assassins has caught up to the dark elf
- many a time.
- Zebron is a quick friend, relying on his skill first, and magic later,
- to 'make his own luck'. He has travelled many lands, always preaching the
- tenets of Eilistraee and trying to change the opinions of those who would
- judge him for what he is, rather than who he is.
