- I don't know who is going to control background information for APCS, so
- I'll post it to general public for approval.
-
- I believe the money issue has distilled to the following
-
- 2 Bit piece = $0.25
- 1 Copper piece = $1
- 1 Silver piece = $10
- 1 Gold piece = $100
- 1 Platinum piece = $1000
-
- I can see I've already overpaid some people in the bar, But unless a better
- system can be derived I'm going to start using the above conversions.
-
-
- Can anyone suggest decent names for these coins.
- I don't want to just call them Copper pieces, We certainly don't call
- our money the "green paper",
-
- Heres my suggestion
-
- Bt is called a bit, Plural is bits
- Cp is called a coin, Plural is coins
- Ag is called a ten-coin, Plural is ten-coins
- Au is called a lucky, Plural is luckies
- Pt is called a royal, Plural is royals
-
- Money is commonly refered through the standard term Coin and bits as follows:
-
- "You owe me 57 coins and 4 bits"
- "All I got is 6 ten-coins"
- "I got change, here's 2 coins and 4 bits
-
- Or rarely when big money is being thrown around
-
- "Hey Squirm, D'you see that rich guy? He's got a purse full of luckies"
- "Yea, he might even got a royal on him. We could live like kings!"
-
-
- P.S. email me your responses, cause my Disk drive died over christmas.
- So nn on my machine is lossing posts so I can't guarantee I'll see your post.
