- don't you have PBMPlus ? if not: GET IT. it's great. viewing *.xbm
- (and LOTS of other formats) is then simple:

- xbmtopbm <OurFile>.xbm | xv -nolimits -

- the "trick" is, that xv can read from STDIN and the PBMPlus "xbmtopbm"
- converts your data to a format, xv can read.
