- Is not one of the foundations of American law, and the concept of protection
- from unjust accusations, that it is better to acquit a few of the guilty than
- to sentance a few of the innocent? This applies to -all- accused, not just
- men accused of rape.

- You tell us? The plain fact is that -many- laws are stupid. If you say
- the wrong thing while defending your home with a gun, you will be accused
- of manslaughter (or is it murder) by the state. Your example is one of
- many, not an isolated example of sexism.
