- It is my impression that the spirits of the Elves helped sing the Music and
- so are bound by it. Men were created by Iluvatar alone, and becasue they
- took no part in making the Music, they could add to it as they desired.
- Plus, Iluvatar gave them a desire to do and see new things, to never be content
- in one place. Contrast this to Elrond and Galadriel who lived in their
- respective homes for a while.
