- I agree with you completely about Wagner, especially his Ring Cycle. Some
- of my favorite music, although I "discovered" Wagner a lot later in life
- than I did Tolkien.

- As for a summary of the plot of the Ring, try to find a copy of "The (First)
- Anna Russel Farewell Concert." She gives a complete, accurate, and very
- funny musical summary of the whole thing in about ten minutes. The text
- would probably be under six pages long, if it were copied out, but it
- wouldn't be nearly as funny.
