- Ever heard of _Startide Rising_, by David Brin? Many of the characters
- are dolphins which have been genetically engineered by humans to be more
- intelligent. The dolphins turn out to be horny, poetry-loving pranksters.
- It's not exactly absurdist humor, but it's good SF.

- he should have no trouble with dolphins.
