Quebec is going to secceed from Canada and be its own country some time before the end of 1994. This will then set the precedent that other provinces like British Columbia need to break off from Canada and join the United States.
And if you don't believe me, check the records. I heard a prominent Canadian
analsyst describing this durning the holiday break. (No, I don't know his name; it was Canadian and therefore unimportant.)
