- about the shoe-event-horizon, etc. as a result of spending an
- exhausting day shoe-shopping.

- Has anyone noticed that in MH, Ford admits to doing the same thing?
- This is revealed in the bit about Ford using his shoe to avoid
- the heat-seeking missile. He mentions that he spent a long time
- looking for those shoes, and that he wrote an essay on the subject
- for the Guide. I suppose that bit was editted out, to leave just
- "Mostly Harmless". DNA's story underwent similar editting, though
- the resulting text _was_ somewhat longer.
