- Two of his extremely funny books, "Dave Barry Slept Here", and "Claw your way
- to the top" are both theme books. It is possible that his readers expect the same sting
- of his newer books as compared to his older one.

- On the other hand, I found his book "Dave Barry Talks back" (collection of
- articles) only moderately funny. Of course, opinions vary from person to person.
