- The main problem is that the politics of the General Assembly is
- corrupt. The General Assembly has one vote per nation and most
- of them are tiny. It has voted in favor of terrorism, disguised
- as a resolution affirming the right of people everywhere to use
- "all means necessary" to secure their "national liberation". The
- U.S. pointed out that this resolution appeared to sanction terrorism,
- provided it was carried out in the name of national liberation.
- Needless to say, the U.S. argument got nowhere.

- The General Assembly members would also vote that the richer countries
- should pay money to the poorer ones with no requirement that the
- poor countries improve their economies.
