- At least using DOS and PC, commercial software called AutoShade + AutoFlix
- will help in placing cameras.
-
- A LISP function named walkthrough asks You for a camera path polyline,
- a camera target point/polyline, light source(s), and the number of cameras.
- It then divides the path polyline into (number) pieces, places cameras
- on breakpoints and creates scenes for them. They are then included in the
- FILMROLL file.
-
- AutoShade does the rendering of the shots (scenes), AutoFlix creates/shows a
- .FLI movie file of the rendered scenes.
-
- In some ftp sites there are programs named FLIMAKER, AAPLAY and TGAFLI
- for creating and playing those .FLI files, too.
