  18. Note the word "most"...I would say that astrology began as a means
  19. of making predictions.  It was mostly court astrologers trying to
  20. predict for the monarch how the reign would fare and when fires,
  21. floods, and pestilences would occur.  The de-emphasis on prediction
  22. occurred when horoscopes for individuals grew in popularity.  And
  23. it is still easy to find financial astrologers and such if you know
  24. which circles to travel in.

  33. of the Minnesota Multiphasic in the future will have a similar
  34. personality to that which they claim has been exhibited by those
  35. making similar pencil marks in the past.  I would say the term
  36. "prediction" is being used in two different senses when applied
  37. to future mundane events versus to internal psychological states.
