- Several years ago, a friend and I ordered 4 M-1 carbines from Southern
- Ohio Gun Distributors (one for me, two for him, and one for a friend of his.)
- They were delivered to his house. He doesn't have a FFL. He accepted them
- anyway.
- I picked one of the four at random, and wound up with the only M-1 in the
- lot that was made by the Underwood Typewriter Company. (The rest were
- made by General Motors, and had M-2 stocks.)
