- Watching Nick at Nite's Rerun Countdown the other night, a remembered one
- of the many arguments I had with Barb. I LOVE those old shows, while she
- simply hates them to death. She considers them corny and stupid and they
- have no redeeming value whatsoever. She is part of the reason I decided
- that the next woman I fall in love with MUST like the Patty Duke show.
-
- I tried to convince her that we do indeed have a television heritage and
- who knows what value these shows will have hundreds of years from now.
- They could be considered a new art form. They would be a glimpse into the
- past, teaching future generation what our society was like. It would show
- them that we were NOT archaic barbarians. It would show that we have a
- culture, DAMMIT!
-
- Then "F Troop" came on.
