  34. Mark's comment was crude and obnoxious.  I detect, however, that it
  35. was also context-specific.  I note (and perhaps you do too) that I've
  36. been debating Mark in a branch of the "Spoken like a true prolifer"
  37. thread for days now.  The only way I could get him to flame me was
  38. to *ask* him to -- at which point he invented a special insult just
  39. for me [beaming, bursting with pride].

  41. I'm left to wonder whether there's something magically mesmerizing
  42. about my posts that leads sinister, bloodthirsty thugs like Mark
  43. Cochran to degenerate into polite milquetoasts -- or whether folks
  44. like Suzanne are just demonstrating the truth of the Bible:
