  19.     This 180 pp paperback book deals with the entire history of
  20. nuclear powered spacecraft and experiments, beginning with the
  21. first nuclear-powered satellite, the Johns Hopkins Applied
  22. Physics Laboratory's TRANSIT 4A for the Navy.  The coverage is
  23. mostly U.S. history, with some Soviet information.  The lunar
  24. ALSEP RTGs are discussed.  Plutonium fuel took various forms over
  25. the years: metal, cermet, and oxide.
