- You have it backwards in two senses. First, I'm talking about the
- German *churches*, not christians in general. The claim was that
- no major denomination cooperated with Hitler. That's wrong. That's
- what I am arguing against.

- outside churches and pointing out that the churches had lost all
- claim to moral authority.
