  10. Please accept my humble incursion into this group but I could use some help on
  11. extracting eigenvalues and eigenvectors from symmetric matrices using a
  12. spreadsheet. I have produced a multiple discriminant analysis model in Excel
  13. which calculates the variance sum of squares matrices but to complete the
  14. analysis I have to take the matrix into MatLabII to get the eigens. Although
  15. this is no real problem it is a bit in-elegant and I would like to be able to
  16. do the whole analysis within one application. If you have or know of any
  17. spreadsheet routines or references to procedures suited to a spreadsheet
  18. environment I would be very grateful if you could pass them on or point me in
  19. the right direction.
