- The "foundations" of statistics is a broad topic (no pun intended) and can
- mean different things to different people. If you'd like a quick overview/
- comparison of different schools of statistical inference, you might try
- Barnett's Comparative Statistical Inference (Wiley). If your interest is
- more in the area of probability, try Kyburg and Smokler (eds) Studies in
- Subjective Probability (Wiley, sold to Krieger).
