  24. I'd just like to add that, although I would really enjoy reading
  25. sci.math, I don't normally, because there the volume is too great and
  26. I don't have time.  So a split that decreased the traffic would gain
  27. you at least this ONE reader.  (BTW: this is the first time I've
  28. actually looked in sci.math in 3-5 weeks, and that's about average.
  29. Unfortunately, that's not enough to allow an estimate of the number of
  30. other non-readers like me who would read it if there were lower
  31. traffic.)  Oh, and I have my own fields of preference, but I like the
  32. eclecticness -- if split, I would read the other sci.math.* groups
  33. (besides my favorites) on an infrequent basis just to keep in touch
  34. with a wider world.
