- Suppose a fractal set embedded in some metric space
- (concretely I'm thinking about a cloud in 3D space).
-
- First I want to determine the typical properties (say the fractal
- dimension) of a *projection* of the set (not a section).
-
- Second I would do the same for a semi-transparent fractal, i.e.
- the density of the projection is a funtion of the previous
- projection.
-
- Could somebody point me towards the appropriate mathematical
- tools to calculate the above projections?
-
- Thanks, Daniel
