- I think this is related to ethnic backround. I don't know about
- Princeton but at state schools a sizeable percentage of the students
- have to support themselves due to having been totally written off by
- their families. As a matter of fact, I have known a number of students
- from upper middle class families who have had to get legal documents
- stating that their families refuses to give any money so that they
- could be eligible for student loans.
