  14. Where i come from (an insignificant pair of islands off the coast of
  15. Antarctica), i managed to equip quite a reasonable workshop largely
  16. by haunting auctions, clearance sales etc. I now find myself in the
  17. (bloody cold bit of) USA, and perusing things like the auction column
  18. of the Sunday paper reveals...Sod All...(other than dozens of antique
  19. auctions - boring), now given that there is probably more high tech
  20. going on in a 1 mile radius of where i am than ther was in the whole
  21. of NZ, WHAT HAPPENS TO ALL THE LEFTOVERS ?. I've heard of gov't
  22. auctions, but how does one find out about them ? What about 3M?
  23. Honeywell?IBM?CDC? the list could go on and on. Any enlightenment
  24. would be welcome
