- Where i come from (an insignificant pair of islands off the coast of
- Antarctica), i managed to equip quite a reasonable workshop largely
- by haunting auctions, clearance sales etc. I now find myself in the
- (bloody cold bit of) USA, and perusing things like the auction column
- of the Sunday paper reveals...Sod All...(other than dozens of antique
- auctions - boring), now given that there is probably more high tech
- going on in a 1 mile radius of where i am than ther was in the whole
- of NZ, WHAT HAPPENS TO ALL THE LEFTOVERS ?. I've heard of gov't
- auctions, but how does one find out about them ? What about 3M?
- Honeywell?IBM?CDC? the list could go on and on. Any enlightenment
- would be welcome
- cheers
- Mike.
