  12. Can anyone tell me where I can obtain detailed handshaking sequence         
  13. protocols used during the connection sequence of two modems?  I would        
  14. like to emulate this sequence with some special purpose hardware.             
  15. Although I am interested in only 300 baud, I want the sequence to          
  16. work for virtually any auto-baud detect modem that might be on the    
  17. other side.
