  18. There certainly is. Not many people want to desing VLSI chips at home,
  19. but the logic simulator would be a gift from heaven. I've seen some
  20. free logic simulator programs, but these have been only marginally
  21. useful as they didn't allow one to specify any real-world parameters
  22. like propagation delays in gates (or were too limited to compete with
  23. the pen-and-paper method). Think of it as converting poor students
  24. into potential buyers when they get a job :-)
