  13. My brother has a '89 Ford Taurus with a 3.0 litre/Automatic.  It's on
  14. its' 3rd transmission.  The original owner had a transmission replaced
  15. under warrantee.  The transmission seems to "slip" in 2nd gear.  In 
  16. each case, the transmissions put in were from the factory and replaced
  17. at the dealership.  (they were all "updated" to the latest technical
  18. bulletin changes).  The car currently has under 60k miles and was owned
  19. by a very conservative driver previously who had all scheduled work done
  20. at the ford dealership.

  22. Has anyone had the same problems with Taurus transmissions or is this
  23. an isolated incident?  Anyone know of any technical bulletins mentioning
  24. transmission problems?
