- Thanks to all who pointed me in the write direction in being able
- to read out the fault codes from the computer. I found the Chilton book
- that talks about how to do it with an analog voltmeter. However,
- they also make clear that Ford claims a breakout box is needed otherwise
- connecting straight to the computer connector will guarantee a computer
- failure. Is this true? Has anybody connected straight to the computer
- connector with out a breakout/interface box?
