  41. That engine was a classic case of poor design.  Probably blew the head gasket
  42. and warped the aluminum head. 
  43.   Seen it happen on lots of that year Sunbirds. Did you notice your tempature 
  44. gauge (if you have one) climb into the red for a short period of time?
  45.  
  46. If you open your radiator overflow, does it smell like the one you described 
  47. previously?  Does your oil have a mayonaisse looking consistency? Oil in the 
  48. radiator? Water coming out the exhaust pipe?
