- That engine was a classic case of poor design. Probably blew the head gasket
- and warped the aluminum head.
- Seen it happen on lots of that year Sunbirds. Did you notice your tempature
- gauge (if you have one) climb into the red for a short period of time?

- If you open your radiator overflow, does it smell like the one you described
- previously? Does your oil have a mayonaisse looking consistency? Oil in the
- radiator? Water coming out the exhaust pipe?
