- Greetings,
-
- I have a 85 Ford Tempo and the heater is dead. The car has a new
- engine and the heater core is new. I took it to a local Ford dealer in
- my area and seem to think that the problem is with the engine head not
- allowing to the water to circulate to the the heater core. For a mere
- 1000 K they can put a new head on my engine and they think that will
- solve the problem.
-
- After talking with a friend or two they seem to think, like I
- do, that the dealer is trying to stick one in me. Their reasoning is
- that if the water wasn`t circulating through my engine then the car
- would run hot which is far from the case. I was wondering if anyone on
- the net has run into a similar problem and if they could recommend a
- solution.
-
-
- Thanks,
-
- Carter
