- A friend of mine is a Snap On dealer, and we had an opportunity to "test"
- one on my car (82 Buick Century) that kept having the Check Engine light come
- on at idle. Hooked it up in a minute or two, retreived the codes, went into
- trouble shooting mode, and it came up with "check canister purge valve for
- correct operation". That was the problem.....
