- If it feels like a CHEAP timing light the
- red and black with clips are hooked up to the
- trigger in the timing light.(simple test with an ohm
- meter before you blow anything up is a good idea)
- I think it is some kind of jumper for the starter
- to get the engine to tdc ---- setting the points or something like that.

- The other 2 wires connect in series with the #1 spark plug
- and activate the neon(again assuming a cheap light) timing light.
