  12. I noticed postings of late on phl.misc. What does the topic of communism have
  13. to do with Philadelphia? I am a relatively new Usenet newsgroup reader and I
  14. have quickly come to see that cross postings are common and often senseless.
  15. This is too bad. This common crossposting of stuff is really degrading a great
  16. medium with lots of potential yet to be realized. The frequent postings to
  17. newsgroups of long-winded messages concerning topics not relevent to a part-
  18. cular newsgroup is also a problem which greatly degrades the utility and the
  19. quality of this medium. Will we ever see postings on phl.misc or any of the
  20. phl.* groups which do concern Philadelphia and Philadelphians? Thanks.
