- the point is that the person at least has the decently to respond to you
- instead of letting you wait week after week for something that was never
- sent. worse, they never to answer all the emails you sent them. people
- are entitled to change their mind as long as they let you know quickly.
- in your case, the aunctioning is wrong. typically, the first guy to email
- or call and make a reasonable offer gets the stuff. the other guys will
- have to wait to see if the deal doesn't go through before they can get it.
- but the thing about obo is that they want a top price.
- if you promised to a deal, then you keep it. don't go back on your word.
