  19. I've had a Panasonic answering machine for a couple years, and it has
  20. continued working perfectly under horrible conditions (the floor of my
  21. bedroom).  I've seen friends who have bought other brands of answering
  22. machines finally give up and buy a Panasonic - because they work and
  23. hold up well.
