  21. I'm in the BMG club, and several years ago I sent them a letter that
  22. informed them that, since I had taken advantage of next to none of their
  23. "specials of the month" offers, I would like the default option on the
  24. monthly mailing to be "don't send me anything."  They complied -- it's
  25. really nice!

  27. I also joined the "two free for life" deal several years back, and it's
  28. paid off well.  Be careful, though... if you don't order anything for about
  29. 6 months, they'll send you little cards that inform you that you'll be
  30. dropped as a member if you don't send them the card back!  After about 4 of
  31. these cards, they got the message that I was NOT about to just go away and
  32. die, and they haven't bothered sending me any more little cards since.
