- Please be aware that if what you were burning had wax in it, it was
- not a Presto Log. Most of what you find in supermarkets and hardware
- store e.g. Duraflane and Pine Mountain, are wax impregnated compressed
- sawdust. Presto logs are just compressed sawdust and as such may be
- treated just like regular wood, no wax buildup in the flue, put as
- many in the fireplace as you like etc. BTW, these sawdust logs are
- made from the sawdust that is usually burned by the sawmills as waste
- in the wood cutting porcess.
