- I tried to save some money by using 4 AAA NiCads in my Pentax IQZoom camera
- in place of the $10.00 battery pack which seemed to need replacing every
- few rolls of film. This worked for a while, but after a couple of months
- the camera started acting "strangely", and required about $80.00 of repairs
- on the electonic circuitry. This may have been a coincidence, but I'm not
- about to try the NiCads again in the camera.
-
- However, NiCads are great in my son's fire truck. The original batteries
- wore out after one day of use, and he's learning all about the recharger.
