  26. I tried to save some money by using 4 AAA NiCads in my Pentax IQZoom camera
  27. in place of the $10.00 battery pack which seemed to need replacing every
  28. few rolls of film.  This worked for a while, but after a couple of months 
  29. the camera started acting "strangely", and required about $80.00 of repairs
  30. on the electonic circuitry.  This may have been a coincidence, but I'm not
  31. about to try the NiCads again in the camera.

  33. However, NiCads are great in my son's fire truck.  The original batteries
  34. wore out after one day of use, and he's learning all about the recharger.
