- It may not be his choice! Maybe the Mac is part of his course/job.
- I sympathise in this case.

- I have a friend who has to complete a piece of software on the Mac for
- her final year Biochemistry project. The people who began the program
- knew little about computers and the program became a large mess. My
- friend, although quite proficient with computers, does not have the time
- to tidy the entire program. Most of the changes required are regular so
- an Emacs Lisp utility could fix it with a little help. Unfortunately,
- no Emacs!

- I don't disagree with the boycott; I'm just looking at things from both
- sides and wishing there was a better course of action against companies
- like Apple.
