- The LGPL is the GNU library general public license. You can get it from
- prep.ai.mit.edu as COPYING-LIB or find it in the GNU libc distribution.

- It differs from the GPL in allowing you to get away with not making the
- sources available for an application linked with the library in question.
- You are required to make the application available in a form that can
- be linked with a new (hopefully improved) version of the library however.
